Sea World Ancol

Sea World Ancol is a complete area to provide entertainment and education, especially the marine world. In its operations, Sea World Ancol carries out 3 major missions namely: Education, Conservation and Entertainment. Through this mission, Sea World Ancol positions itself as a quality entertainment venue. In an effort to introduce biota that live in nature, SeaWorld Ancol has around 7,300 freshwater biota consisting of 48 species of fish, 1 species of reptile to marine biota consisting of 11,500 biota consisting of 138 species of fish and invertebrates and 3 species reptile. The biota are displayed in 28 displays which are divided into 9 freshwater aquariums and 19 aquariums and 4 open ponds.

Each display of the aquarium or vehicle has a special theme to give its own nuance in the message it conveys. In addition, to increase knowledge about the biota displayed, it is also equipped with a label containing information about biota, both biologically and uniquely.

We also present various kinds of events and other supporting facilities for the comfort and satisfaction of visitors, such as the exciting action of 2 divers during the Feeding show in the main aquarium, the unique thing about dugongs eating seaweed from the divers' hands to the ferocity of the kerondong eel fighting over its food. For those who want to interact with marine life there is also a Touch Pool and they want to meet deep-sea animals, so the museum facilities containing preserved deep-sea animals are waiting there, such as the Ancient Fish – King of the Sea (Coelacanth).
