The Velo Precinct.

Come rain, hail or sunshine, Velo is a casual, family friendly café, restaurant and event hire venue and a great place to relax on the fringe of Adelaide city.

Situated at Victoria Park in the heritage listed grandstand, our 120-seat eatery and event space features clean, contemporary design maintaining the spirit of the building’s cherished history. Complimenting this space is our entrance and out-door seated area on the verge of the grandstand itself where you overlook the beautiful eastern parklands.

Our food philosophy is equally simple. We use the best produce, cook delicious recipes handed down through generations and add a little modern flair. It’s not very fussy. It is just very tasty.

Why not linger over a lazy breakfast with our creations of tantalising local produce and exquisite barista made Dimatina coffee. Pop in for sneaky lunch-time pizza and a South Australian wine or grab a fresh Italian-style sandwich to take away and head off into the leafy surrounding parklands. 

Wouldn’t it be nice to sit down in a café with a great coffee and not have to worry about your little angels getting bored and restless?

Seperate from our main cafe, we go one step further with Spokey Dokey with our custom-designed playground that keeps the little kids entertained for hours, aiding their social development while allowing you to sit down for a second. Parental supervision is still required, of course! And for the older kids their is the outdoor parkland when it is not raining.
