It is one of the lungs of the city, with multiple options for leisure and fun.

The La Bateria park is, with its privileged position overlooking the sea, one of the lungs of Torremolinos. The perfect place to disconnect, forget about asphalt and enjoy nature without leaving the city. Located north of La Carihuela and next to the Montemar Alto train stop, La Bateria park has more than 74,000 square meters for leisure, sports and family fun. It has more than a thousand trees, of 25 different species.

Like Central Park in Torremolinos, La Bateria park is enjoyed by many people, thanks to its many attractions. The main one is its artificial lake of more than 9,000 square meters, in which you can navigate thanks to a boat rental service at a reasonable price. The carousel has the same schedule: it is a magnificent classic Venetian-style merry-go-round, with almost 50 figures of giraffes, horses, floats and little houses for the enjoyment of the little ones.

In addition, it has a 15-meter high lookout tower, a network of trails, a physical exercise area, a bike path, a jogging track and a large children's play area.

Its name comes from the old coastal defensive battery that had its location here. In fact, some artillery cannons and two underground bunkers can still be seen. La Bateria park has 150 parking spaces around it and a main entrance. Access with pets is not allowed.
