Praia das Rocas

Praia Fluvial das Rocas is a leisure, animation and entertainment complex located on a lake that is almost 1 km long, right in the heart of Castanheira de Pêra.

An island in the center of Praia, a 2100 m2 wave pool (the largest in the country), a reservoir and a secular bridge are an environment where the dream and reality are mixed.

The clear waters of Ribeira de Pêra spread out, forming a charming place where tropical palm trees coexist harmoniously with the Serra da Lousã that lurks from above.

You can also enjoy a ride in a rowing boat or seagull, do a slide, climb or abseil and even stay overnight in one of the 6 bungalows profiled on the bank of the reservoir, with a privileged view over the huge water mirror.

Since 2005, the year that Praia das Rocas opened its doors to the public, about 100 thousand entries are registered annually.
